NCRS Florida or Golden Gate Meet

I would like to attend one of these meets this year and was wondering if they are both about the same or is one "better" than the other. I would like to hit them both but since I'll have to take time off of work I'll have to pick one or the other...which one would you all pick?

    Thanks

Re: NCRS Florida or Golden Gate Meet

Greg the Florida meet is in the 27th year of existance. I would expect more cars and vendors to be at this meet. Normally the cars you see there are East Coast cars. The Golden Gate meet is a first time event at this location. I would expect it to be a little smaller than the Fl meet. I think that both will be enjoyable meets with several cars to look at. Are you sure that you can't just do both and double your pleasure and double your fun?

I gotta be careful because I plan on going to both meets. See you somewhere

Re: NCRS Florida or Golden Gate Meet

Trust me, I'd love to attend both but they both fall on my days on. The airline that I work for just started flying to Orlando and San Fransico so getting there is easy. Our work shift is five on and five off so that would give me plenty of time at each meet. Problem is both meets are during my days on. So close but yet so far...we'll see.

      Thanks

        Golden Gate Meet info

        Greg,

Although Dick W. says that the Florida meet might have more cars, I'm not so sure this will turn out to be true. At the monthly meeting of the Northern Cal chapter last night, we heard that the Golden gate meet already has between 20 and 30 cars registered (3 months in advance) and some judging categories are likely to max out. Although 27 years in the case of the Florida meet is hard to match, the Golden Gate meet is co-organized by the Northern Cal, Southern Cal, Bonneville, and Southwest chapters and this group is no slouch. The 2002 NCRS National in Monterey was a testament to some of their organizational and event planning skills. If you want more information about the Golden Gate meet I encourage that you to contact either the following people:

Re: Florida meet has more than

just cars. They have a large swap meet(Corvette only stuff) also a two day Corvette auction. There's always something to do.
