    59 Corvette weight?

    Does anyone know the stock weight of a 59 corvette? Thanks

      Between 3330 and 3405 loaded, according to Noland's book. Depends on transmission, add 55 pounds for hardtop.

          The Black Book gives it a weight of 2975 pounds.

                  "As Shipped" weight is no passengers, two gallons of fuel. "Curb" is no passengers, full tank of fuel. "Loaded" is full fuel plus two 150# passengers. A '59 (with two gallons of gas) weighs about 2900# with a manual transmission, about 3000# with Powerglide.
