Does anyone have a good photo of the front stabilizer bar tag? (Location, placement, and orientation on the bar.) 327 with Standard Suspension.

I would be happy to help, if I know the answer, but I don't think I quite understand what the tag is that you refer to.

Isn't there an orange tag with the part number and some sort of code wrapped around the front swap bar? Much like the green tags on the front srings.

Ken,

There may well have been a tag but I don't remember one. I do seem to remember something like that on much later cars of the 70's but not the 60's. Hopefully, someone that knows for sure will get involved and we'll both learn on this one.

The vendors sell a wrap-tag for midyear front stabilizer bars, but they weren't used in production (like leather clutch fork boots for C1's, etc.).

Pretty soon they'll be another "standard issue" part. Once again the power of the aftermarket will overwhelm the evidence of the original cars.
