    C1 Antenna

On 61/62 does the mast of the Antenna completely retract into the fender? Mine seems to be original and sticks up about 10" approx. from the fender. The JM has me confused on this issue?

Also, I tried to polish the mast and found out that it is made of brass or copper. Not a good idea $$$$$$$$$$$$

Do any of the Corvette supplier's sell the mast only?

    Re: C1 Antenna

    Peter,
The lower part of an original antenna mast should slide up and down within the antenna body. When lowered fully it will be about 8" above the fender and when extended it will be about 14" or 16". The repros don't do that as the lower part is fixed. Paul Mazut can help you with whatever problem you have.
