C2 Removal / Repro of front harness straps

Removing front wiring harness from the left inner fenders of a 1967. The black plastic attaching straps don't look like they will be salvageable, if I do figure out how to remove them. Any thoughts on removal, other than just pulling on them?

Also, I assume there are reproductions of these holder loops, but are they any good (accurate repros)? I can supply a photo if needed.

    Thanks in advance.

    Check out the Doc's catalog

He carries them, I ordered a set and they look fine to me, but what do I know, I'm just a rookie

Thanks Scott - Don't feel bad about rookie status. I've noted the Steelers have a pretty good one.

        Tom,
I talked to a fellow at the Windsor National and he had super glued them together because you can't seperate them once they are assembled. His super glue was coming apart so he was trying to use electrical tape in a pinch. He stated the judges could tell the difference between the original and repo but what do I know, I'm only a sophomore in this class. Oh, he had cut his original ones to put in a new wiring harness.

Yep, the Doc's are quite good. Far better than trying to salvage a brittle original or super gluing together.
