Anybody know if you get driving miles credit toward the operations check on a Founders Award?

Re: Founders Award
T.,
You do not get mileage points for the Founders Award Ops check. The only mileage points you would receive would be those logged on the trip to the chapter meet where the car must be flight judged and earn a Third, Second or Top Fight award. You must pass the Ops check with a 96% or better. I'm going from memory here but out of the 760 points possible for the Ops check, you can have a maximum deduct of 30 points and still be slightly above the 96% mark. I believe you will receive 10 extra points added to your Ops check raw score for having an NCRS window decal, fire extinguisher, and a battery disconnect switch in/on the car.
I'm in the process of completing the requirements in hopes of being awarded the Founders Award at the Nationals this year in Salt Lake City. The car has been flight judged at a chapter meet, I have earned my level 1 judging points, I'm close submitting my article for the Restorer Magazine and I'm on my way to Bowling Green, KY in May for the regional Ops check.
Good Luck!
