Original connectors for C1 harness wanted

Does anyone know of a supplier for original male and female connectors for early C1 wiring harnesses? I know that there are similar clips out there but I would like to restore my harness to original as possible. It is still in good shape with the exception of a few of the female ends are very brittle and some male ends are in need of replacing also. No metaphor's intended. Thanks.

    Garry,
From what I have read, many of the "experts" contend that if the connectors are old and brittle so is the wiring and suggest that the wiring harness be replaced. If you are only going to replace a few connectors, that may be okay, but you might think about replacing the specfic harness. My LectricLimited catalog is at the storage garage but they might sell the connectors.

Roy, thanks for the offer. I haven't taken a complete inventory of everything that I need yet. I will get to you by private email when I am ready if that is OK. Thanks again. I am still considering replacing the whole thing but still evaluating.

Rick, you are exactly where I am on this one. I am assessing just how many need to be replaced and if it makes sense versus replacing the whole thing. On one hand I love the originality of the harness, on the other I hate it like hell when there is an electrical problem. The harness appears to be in great shape and I have had no problems with it up to this point. Thanks for your advice.

              Garry,
One way to justify spending the money on a 45+ yr old wiring harness is to ask how much will it cost to repair a burnt car. LectricLimited contends wiring will deteriorate no matter where it has spent it's life (in a car or on a shelf). One other thing is reliability, I replaced my engine harness because a bad connector at the junction box on the firewall that caused my car to die at the most inapproiate time. It was at night in the middle of nowhere.

              Regards,
              Rick
