Small Diameter front bearing cover?
Roy - Do you know the diameter of the three speed bellhousing hole? Same as the outer diameter of the "front bearing cover" on the trans.?
Thanks

Re: BW-T10 1962 Into 1957
You may have to change the bracket that bolts to the tailshaft. I think you will find a difference in the spread of the bolt holes on the tailshaft housing. I don't have any reference material in front of me at the moment to check but it would be a simple fix, just use the later style bracket.- Top

I believe it'll fit. Not sure about the bell housing. But I know the shifter and the yoke will fit.
'62 only had a mounting bracket for the rear tailshaft that hooks up with the existing rear bracket. All the vendors carry it.- Top

Re: Small Diameter front bearing cover?
I don't really know the diameter , BUT any year 3 or 4 speed , that any G.M used will bolt up to your bell housing, all are the same .
That's why stinking Ford guys use Chevy engines and trans.
Oh no ! any one own a FORD!!!- Top
