    70 front frame to datum

Working on a alignment problem. Checked the front frame to the ground. 11 1/2 ". In the aim the front vertical measurement is 14 +" from frame to datum.(ground?) No way its out 3"!
I have 235x15 instead of stock. Sure this doesn't account for it. Could something be out or worn that much, or am I reading that vertical measurement from the front of the frame wrong.
BTW, that same 14+ is repeated a few more times along the side of the frame. seems like the level height for reference. Any ideas?

The ground datum in the frame specifications does not refer to the physical ground, but a ground plane. The ground plane is varible. I could be 11 inches or 11 feet. The important thing is that the mounts and guage holes are measured to a known datum plane. You need to determine the relative height of the points with reference to a known position.

Thanks Wayne. When I saw the same height measurement going down the side in a few locations, I thought that might be the case. I guess the next question is, what is a good range for an actual front vertical measurement ?
