I always wondered what a C-3 Big Block hood looked like. It even worked last when in car. I guess since my Big Block hood looks nothing like this "original" one, I must have it!!! :>) Who is this guy trying to fool?

I think that this WAS an original 68-72 big block (or LT-1) hood before someone butchered it to add the "high rise" section. In my mind, it's now worth "0". I wouldn't pay 1 cent for it. In fact, if someone offered to GIVE it to me, I wouldn't take it.In Appreciation of John HinckleyComment

I was trying to be facetious (I guess it didn't work.) This guy could easily pull the wool over someone who doesn't know any better. I'd be surprised if any C3 owner would be so naive to think that this hood was anything but like you said "a butchered" Big Block hood.
