...for the NCRS event. The temperature may be a bit on the cool side, only a predicted high of 74 on Saturday, but think about this. That's 128 degrees warmer than it was in Embarrass, Minnesota a few days ago. They had a near record low of -54.

My experience with Florida visits at this time of the year have caused me to label it the "Unshine State.' The good news is the Florida Regional is always enjoyable whatever the weather. Have fun.

we have been going to florida since 1957 every february and i have seen as low a 19 degrees wind chill factor and 28 degrees in daytona. when we raced at the local dirt tracks at night i wore my snowmobile suit some times. it was 39 degrees at the speedway last year for the bud shootout and mrs clem and i had on our winter coat and gloves. that damp cold goes right thru you.

But also remember, it was that cold/dense air....

true and you can realy feel the power difference

in these new corvettes with the change of the timing map with lower outside air temp.

Friday: Beautiful, bright sunny clear blue skies with temps in the low 70's.

Saturday: Beautiful, bright mostly sunny blue skies with temps in the low to mid 70's. (they called it partly cloudy but I thought mostly sunny sounded better)

Sunday: Ugly, cold, high of 55 and low of 30 that night.

Wonder how the NCRS guys did that?
