    headlights

    My headlights wont come up with the switch. Only come up when I pull the override,is my switch bad? they trun on just will not come up, sometimes they go down with the switch.

    Check the vacuum line to the switch for cracks/leaks.

        where under the dash is the switch located? is it on the fire wall close to the fuse box?

            It's attached to the headlight knob, behind the dash.

                Lyndon...

                there are ton's of article on the Headlight vacuum system. Most of the system is in the engine dept., running up to the two canisters in front of the radiator. (C3's)

                    does the headlight on an off switch have the headlight vacuum door open switch on it?

                            The Winter 2005 Corvette Restorer has an article on rebuilding the 68-77 Corvette light switch. It mentions that if the vacuum function has failed to replace the switch. wwwjoerayparts.com has the Delco #1995191 Corvette light switch listed. Some of the other Corvette venders sell reproduction switches.
