Gas pedal-59

I cannot keep my pedal from popping off the little ball retainer. Any suggestions?

You mention retainer, there should be two of them. Often the original studs are rusted and worn. The replacements are pretty cheap. I have had the same problem on a couple of C1's that was eventually solved with a call to Corvette Central (or whoever your favorite supplier is).

I also have this problem. I have the new studs and gas pedal from C.C. The rubber pedal has two molded in holes that the ball studs fit in. Are there also "retainers"

The gas pedal snaps down over the studs.
