65 Rear Diff. Cover

Hello again! Would like to acquire an undated 3871375 rear cover for my 65. Been watching ebay for months and haven't seen one. Anyone know of a source for this part?

I found one finally for my 67 at Bloomington or Carlisle, most are dated starting in 68 so there are few without. You can probably grind off the date but getting the texture right may be a problem. I don't think the dates are judged anyway, but I understand where you are coming from, been there, done that....... Craig

I found one finally for my 67 at Bloomington or Carlisle, most are dated starting in 68 so there are few without. You can probably grind off the date but getting the texture right may be a problem. I don't think the dates are judged anyway, but I understand where you are coming from, been there, done that....... Craig

Thanks Craig. You're right, I'm not concerned about judging. I just take personal satisfaction in getting all the correct parts for the car. I'll run across one eventually!
