    68 Dimmer Switch Pedal

Does anyone know of any vendor that sells the pedal that mounts over the headlight dimmer switch on the floor of a 68 Corvette?
I think it may go under the rug and is shaped something like an accelerator pedal. I saw one on e-bay and lost the auction. Trying to find one as my car does not have it.
    Thank you,
    Kurt # 26406

The 1968 dimmer switch pedal was unique to the 1968 application. It was GM #3922386 and it was discontinued in January, 1975. It's not reproduced, as far as I know. However, you might want to check with the Good Doctor (Rebuild). He might just have a few of these lurking around.

My 69 has the same type of plastic piece that looks like a miniature gas pedal. It is cracked just above where it fastens to the floor. I looked at the swap meet in Old Town, and asked every vendor there if they had it. Most didn't know what I was talking about, but thosethat did didn't have it.About 6 monts ago I asked one of the parts guy's at Corvete Central about it and he knew what I was talking about and said they would be getting some in. I have not checked back recently.Don you are correct it goes under the carpet.iF any one knows where to get them I am interested.
