how do you get the 4 nuts on the console? the bracket is rivited to the floor. do you have to reach beside the brake lever and put them on before the front console?

the console is bolted at the rear inbetween the compartments -battery and jack , i will tell you it is a chore maybe not to get off but on - settle in for a while. the sides have one screww on either side and the front is a believe a slip fit with the sides and a filler that also slips on the "t' shaped filler on the handle track . be advised the console comes out from the back meaning it slides out by removing the side screws and the bolt at the rear inbetween the compartments and then slides up and out from the shelf behind the seats. pull the jack box out anbd reach your hand down in the middle and you will be able to touch the bolt, take your time . if you are going to take the compartments outi mean break them noew is the time but otherwise take your time. take a look at the AIM. -
