    Is this car a '66 ?

    I have a '66 roadster vin 194676S111394, and an engine stamp of 0111394 / F0II4HE.
    I don't know the accuracy of this site http://www.100megsfree4.com/corvette/1960/vet66.htm
    but it doesn't show an HE suffix for '66. But it DOES have an HE suffix listed in '65. The car is titled as a 66 and was when I bought it 13 yeras ago, has the cut-outs in the hood to attach the hood emblem, etc.

    Is there a definitive reference for this data, please?

      Kurt, the WEB site is missing the HE code. In 66 HE was a 300HP with a manual trans. The approximate build date of you car is 1/18/66. The engine was built 1/14. I think you OK.

              Kurt, take a look at the material available on this site. The NCRS Pocket Spec Guide is of great help as well as all the other materials available.
