What is a 67 good for??

Driving to Bend Oregon in our 67 my son sat in the back ,as my wife and I drove to another NCRS meet.About 24 years ago!
Now taking parts on a bike trailer to sell and to make money to pay for the trip. One of the best thing about selling parts was you met and talked to every one , because every one was looking for parts, very few repro's were available back then. ( the swap meet area was our seminar meetings in the old days) That's were I learned most of what little I know.
Again I miss those days here in Ca. we never have NCRS swap meets any more.
( that's what made and drove people to NCRS)
I usually still take some parts like the 04 National , but feel odd when near no one looks any more.
I guess pretty repro's parts took over? I now sell real original parts on e-bay like most old timers do and where they buy parts now.

Roy, I had assumed after reading the registration form that infact there would be a swap meet at the convention. Do you mean there is no swap meet planned for Park City?

You live on the wrong coast.

If you haven't noticed, we just had a pretty good one here in Florida. The drawback is size. I think there was a lot more room at Cypress Gardens, but even those who held a "Beatles Reunite" type hope can say goodbye to that as Cypress has expanded and taken all of that space for the new theme park rides.

Disney was a lot of room, but Disney wasn't cheap enough.

Hilton was nice, but really, the lot was probably too defined and too tight.

Old Town is nicer in swap space and maybe size that the Hilton, but it is shrinking and double that size would be nice.

I really do envy you blue state people, here also in a lefty , wacky , nutty blue state Ca. most Corvette people don't have the enthusiasm the east has. I truly believe it's the weather you have which is so short that you only have months to enjoy your Corvettes. Many take the weather and Corvettes for granite in Ca.

Well, come on over. It is warm here almost all year long. We get about a month of cold weather, although this year we only got about 2-1/2 weeks, broken up by a week of 65-70.

We don't have no stinkin' emissions testing, except in the Palm Beach-Miami stretch and the Tampa-St Pete stretch. Not that your '55 would have to anyway.

And if it is the beach that holds you there, we probably have more beach that California. Definitely more WARM beach.

"And it never rains in Southern California!"

Wasn't that in a song? Definitely not true for us up north, and recently in the south. Maybe it's the stormy politics.
