Boy. This is going to be difficult to provide a discription of this. It's in the Corvette Restoration & Technical Guide Vol 2 page 105.
There are, according to Nolan Adams, numerous construction variations to the same part number, 3825993. I'm just guessing mind you, but I suppose since I have an early '63 and this jack was used only on 63-67, I'll have the first variation. Describing this is going to be difficult at best, but here goes.
It has the 3/4" nut, flat washer, flat 'acetal resin' bearing (light in color), flat washer with upper and lower edges bent over on the enp piece to keep it from spinning.
If anyone owning an early '63 (mine was assembled 3rd week of Dec. 62) could confirm this, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, are these date coded? Thanks in advance.
