Orlando Meet ???????????

Left Florida today to return home. I stayed at the Comfort Suites next to the swap field. Interesting observation - when I drove out of the parking lot at 5:00 a.m. and along the street between the hotel and Old Town, there was a large sign where the cars entered the gate for the Corvette Corral. It read "For Sale,
8.5 Acres Commercial. Wonder what this is all about? It wasn't there on Monday. Anyone known?

Thanks Kent for your clarification. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what transpires. Sure is a great location for those who stay at the host hotels.

I kinda liked the two 6,000-gallon vertical storage tanks of racing gasoline in the field across the street from the hotel entrance; quite fitting for some of our vintage iron there last week

I saw a survey team in there on Friday or Saturday morning. They were around there doing thier thing for a few hours,I don't remember which day it was though.I remember thinking at the time that the property must be for sale or sold.I may go back up there in a few weeks for the super Chevy show, if I do I will check it out and advise.

I'd be interested in knowing what you find out. I have a friend in Sanford and he goes to Old Town regularly. I'll ask him to keep an eye on the site and will also keep the Board informed.
