'53-'55 rear springs list part number 3706707 - 51" C to C by 2" wide. '56-'57 part number 3751438 - 51" C to C by 2" wide. Can they be interchanged say '62 springs on a '54 or opposite? Will they function correctly or is there some other difference not listed above? Thanks.

I have interchanged different year springs many time and they worked fine.
The 53 to 55 Corvette front rear spring brackets are different then the 56 to 62 brackets , that's all and will change the rear height of the Corvette if you don't use the right ones. ( see that many times) too low or high.
