When going thru some of my old Corvette stuff I found this distributor that I purchased in the mid/late seventies. It is a dual point unit. Anyone know what it was original spec'd for?

The original application of the GM #1110985 was 1962 Corvette with 340 hp. However, this particular distributor was widely sold in SERVICE for many years as a general hi-performance part. I'll bet that a LOT more were sold this way than the 4412 originally installed on 1962 Corvettes.In Appreciation of John Hinckley -

The distributor #1110985 is a dual-point unit without vacuum advance to fit a 1962 327 cubic inch engine with 340 horsepower. This distributor is unique to this engine.
