What happed to the heat transfered gm heater hoses. Are thet available anywhere or is this all that is out there. They seem to be getting worse the last few sets I received. Thanks

Re: 69 corvette heater hoses. help!
Jonathan,
If you want correct for judging heater hoses for your 1969, you do not want GM lettered hoses. There must be a lot of GM lettered hoses available though, I see them often, and deduct for them just as often.Terry- Top

Re: www.docrebuild.com
Remove the worn out GM lettering with lacquer thinner. So long as the hoses you have are black, you will be more than 80% or the way there. Depending on the judge, you may receive a slight deduction for the brand marks (ribs or grooves) on the hose; but many judges ignore that feature since few know the code. And who is to say that the hoses should be one brand over another anyway.Terry- Top
