Are the unpolished, silver-grey colored areas of the grill a painted finish? If so, anyone know what color will best duplicate the original finish? It looks it might be easier to paint the whole grill without masking off the polished areas, and then wipe off the areas with laquer thinner, or similar that aren't supposed to be painted...anyone suggestions?

Aren't they painted with something like Argent Silver? I have the same question Rob. I plan on spraying the grill, a few sections at a time and then wiping off the chrome with a rag and thinner. -

I can't help you will the color but if you put on a little film of grease on the polished areas it will wipe right off when you're done painting.Comment
