C1 1960 Deck lid help needed

I'm in the process of repairing the hinge mounting area on my 1960 deck lid and have cut away the fiberglass that retains the metal plates that the hinges bolt to. The area was so badly damaged that I was not able to obtain accurate measurements. If someone has a truck lid lying around I would be grateful for some help. A tracing of the area or measurements would be much appreciated. I have the original plates so what I need is the relative position of the three holes to the rear edge of the lid and the distance center to center between the two hinges mounts. Thanks!

Left and right would be the same distance form the lid corners, or you could measure the lid hinges distance from each other or bolt the undamged side on making sure it fits the body then mark the other side position on the lid.
Doing it that way insures your fit in case your hinges are bent or off a little .

Roy, Both sides of the deck lid are damaged so I can't compare left and right. The hinges themselves are not damaged but have been removed from the car in their framework for cleaning and repair. I could guess at the original position but if I'm off by more than about 1/8" the decklid may not align properly due to the fact that the elongation in the hinge holes is only front to back.

I can see getting measurements from some one would help, I would wait till you install the hinges in the body first or locate another lid. Any lid 56 to 60 would work, 53 to 55 are to long and 61 to 62 to short. It only takes (money and time, darn it!)

You are better off buying a good used original. they are not that expensive. Cost double to fix and not sure it will align up.
