VIN Number Information, C2

[Roy Brotherhood]

I purchased my dream car last November. It is a 1967 L71 (427/435hp), Ralley Red Coupe (Red Interior) Vin No. 94377S105764. Other options are Transistor Ignition, Side Pipes, M21 4spd, F41 Suspension, Posi, Spec HD Brakes, BO Aluminum Wheels, AM-FM Radio, Tinted Glass.

I was wondering if anyone might have some information on this car? I have no info prior to my purchase. If anyone could offer any information (or point me in a another direction), I would really appreciate it.

Congratulations! I live by the rule: if you don't have dreams, then you've got nighmares.

If the original gas tank is still on the car, the line sheet will tell you alot about your car. It is excellent documentation since there are some big block cars around these days that were never born that way...

Hi Roy -

We would be able to glean some things from your Trim Tag info. Every stamped number has a meaning. If you get ambitious, you might hit the jackpot by finding the build sheet attached to the top of your gas tank.

Congrats! Sounds like a beautiful car. You might try a title search through the DMV using the car's vin to track down prior owners. Then give them a call- if you can find them listed. Most are happy to talk to you. But, as it's been said, if the build sheet is still on the tank, that will have a tremendous amount of information about your car and what it rolled off the line with etc.
