    C2 electrical/signal issue

The turn signal on my 66 isn't functioning correctly. When turning right, the dash indicator and flashers work fine. But, engage the turn signal for a left turn and the dash light just stays on and the turn signal lights don't flash. What might cause this? Bad ground? Directional switch gone bad?

Also, the brake indicator light on the dash works great, but the warning for the lights doesn't. I had the wiring harness replaced and all the bulbs. What might be the problem?

    A little help please.

When the indicator light comes on but doesn't flash, it frequently indicatres that either the front or rear bulb on that side is burned out, or otherwise not operating. It is supposed to take the current from both lamps to heat the flasher enough to make it work.

Check the obvious on the warning light. The bulb.

Most likely a grounding issue on one of the lamps, for the signal. If the headlight warning lamp is good, check the connections on the switches at the headlight motors.

You may want to check the bulb used for the headlight warning. It is not the same bulb as the other dash lamps.
