    1962 OUTSIDE MIRROR

    I HAVE AN ORIGINAL OUTSIDE MIRROR WITH A SCRATCHED MIRROR. IS IT REMOVABLE WITH OUT DAMAGING THE CHROME METAL PORTION OF THE MIRROR. ANY SUGESTIONS ON HOW I WOULD DO IT.

              If my memory serves me correctly today, the original glass is retained by a crimp around the outside. Even if you got the glass out I do not understand how you would replace it. Maybe someone else has a suggestion.

              Good repo's are availabe for around $100 or so.
