Rochester carb dates

I am looking for a date matching carb for my car to rebuild. I have found 2 cores 1 with a date code 0916 and the other with a code of 1593. It is a 7029207 carb for a 69 L-46. Th e car was built in mid Febuary 69. The j g manual say the date should be the first 3 digits the julian day and the last digit is the digit for year of production. What are the dates I have listed for?Thanks for the help in advance.

According to the 1968-69 TIM & JG if the carbs were manufactured by Rochester the 0916 is the 91st day of 1976 (I am assuming the decade) and the 1593 is the 159th day or 1973 (same assumption). I do not believe that either would judge as original, but the point deduction would not be major for the differing date code assuming that everything else was as should be, finish, correctly configured for your application, etc.

As I stated in my post I got some info out of the J G manual that I have.The persons with the cores told me that they were 69's. I just wanted to confirm what I figured out from the date code.One of the first things I did when I joined N C R S WAS TO BUY A MANUAL . I find it very helpful.Thanks for your help.
