Does anyone have any info/estimate on how many 1969 L-89s came equipped with a power steering option?

Re: 1969 L-89 Power Steering
Thanks for the calculated guess Kent. I had a hard time believing none. Pages 81-82 of R. Bizzoco's 1969 S-Ray Guidebook states that the N40 option (power steering) was not avaialble on L-71s or L-89s. My L-89 has the PS option and its listed on the build sheet.

Re: 1969 L-89 Power Steering
Don,
My 69 L-71 (427ci/435hp) came with N40 power steering, J50 power brakes, P02 delux wheel covers, G81 positraction, M21 close-ratio 4-speed, N14 side exhaust and some other goodies as evidenced by the window sticker saved by the original owner and provided to me when I purchased the car from him.
There are mistakes in almost every book published ... I'll have to check Rick Bizzoco's. If you saw Kevin McKay's '69 L-88 at the 2005 Winter Regional Meet, it has power steering. A friend in West Palm Beach had a 1969 L-89 with factory power steering.
My calculated guess (SWAG) simply evolved only from extrapolation of the Corvette Black Book production numbers. People who spent the extra funds for a L-89 were entitled to some creature comforts.
There must be some experts out there who will either set me straight or give you better information but, my 1969 L-71 Corvette still has the factory assembled power steering and, hopefully, the gas tank sticker to accompany the window sticker.
Good Corvetting,

1969 L-88 (Power Steering)?
Don - I may have been incorrect about Kevin McKay's 1969 L-88 and am emailing a picture that someone else captured at the 2005 Winter Regional Meet for you to decide. Funny thing is that it looks like power steering but it's black, not gold cad plated.
While it say so in Bizzoco's book that N40 was not available in L71 or L89 cars, my 1969 L71 Corvette coupe did, in fact, come with power steering.
