I am restoring my 1962 340hp Corvette. I replaced the carb with a rebuilt unit years ago, and would like to replace it with a correct unit. Would a Carter 3269S with a build date of BA2 or BK1 be correct on a March 1962 build date car. Thanks for the help.

Re: 1962 Carberator date
I think both would be good. The "BA2" one better. Get some more opinions, though.
The "B" stands for the part Revision level. The next letter, "A" or "K", stands for the month. The "2" or the "1" is for the year. "A2" = January 1962. "K1" is either October or November 1961.- Top
