I figure this is the place to ask this question.
My brother-in-law is planning on buying an 85 Hurst Olds. ( He had one in his single days and now can afford another.)
This car is 5 hours from me and 14 hours from him. So if we go with my covered trailer to look at it, we probably won't come home without it.
It's supposed to be all original, except a new set of tires. Has 67,000 miles and looks good in the pictures.
The price reflects an original, very nice car.
So... What should we look for, to be sure this car is what it is advertised as? Are matching numbers on this type of car as important as on a vette? I see a C1 jack on Ebay for $600.00 should we be concerned about jacks and such with this car?
