3916321 1967 427 Block

In my search for a 3904351, 427, 2 bolt block, I came accross a 3916321, 2 bolt block with a January 67 cast date. My 67 427/390 was assembled in early March 67.
Would this Block be correct for my car.
I have never seen a 3916321 block in a 67.

So what is the story on the 621 block?

I know there is a theory the "621" block was installed in late 67's. As a matter of fact, I have a 621 block in a 21000-ish serial number 67 Vette. Is there anything to back up the application in the Corvette? Or is there a serial number/range that started it all? Don't know if the one I have is/could be original or not,but it would be nice to know if it had a chance. Thank you in advance for your input on this question. Glenn

glen: a 321 block MAY be ok with a real late 67, but the jan 67 cast date 321 block mentioned in the previous post is suspicious.mike

May 351 blocks

I have personally owned two 351 casting blocks from early May 1967 so I would suspect any 321 blocks would have to be cast later that that.
