What to pack?

If I'm planning on trailering my 55 to Park City maybe as part of a carivan.
And since I have room in the trailer for tools and parts.

What type of things sould I pack in order to keep all the cars on the road?

IE: starters, generators, waterpumps, ect.

Great to hear your coming , looking forward to seeing your 55 . I carry points,rotor,cap coil , wheel bearings and Cash. Hard to find them at any parts house for my 55 any thing els I can usably find some wear.

Dennis teed that one up so high I thought surely you would have attached a photo of your '55 pulling a trailer load of enough parts to build another '55 or something along that line. ;-) I gotta say, I always smile at those pics, as I greatly respect your belief that Vettes were made to be driven.

Sorry, I'm too much of a newb to have any good ideas, other than the requisite jumper cables and basic tools.

Went camping last summer with 30 other Tear Drop nuts . Great people didn't put me down for driving and pulling it with my Corvette.

I took a cell phone and fire extinguisher on my 1600mi journey. And I put 5K on my car last year, drive em baby.

Kevin !What got me in to tear drops was my wife stuff when we travel , ever try to stuff your Wives clothes in the truck of a vett?? GOOD LUCK I carry all I need in a paper bag. Best accessory I ever added to our 55 vett. and I love accessories .When we take our 67 coup I can hardly see out the back window so I added a hitch to it also.

Condensers
plugs
rotors
front wheel bearings
a spare hub (won't find one on the road)
jack
jack stands
tools
coolant and water
radiator hoses
oil
oil filters
tow stap (just in case TWO break) trailer one, tow the other to a safe spot.

You probably are not doing major repairs on the road, for two reasons: 1) most won't wait around for it, 2) easier to toss the broken car in the trailer and drive the good car to the next motel for the night.

Then you can work all night to fix the broken one.

If you lose a starter during the day, being that the car most like is a stick, you can get about 6 guys to push it and let the driver pop the clutch to start. Then don't shut it off except for stopping to eat.
