    undercoating on a 1963

I need to add undercoating on the front wheel wells. I see that Paragon has a green color primer, and that Ecklers has a rust semi black. Can any of these be used? Where do you get this undercoating? Auto supply? Car dealer? any help is appreciated.

If you're talking about the thick black rubbery undercoating with the rough surface, I doubt you'll be able to find any rattle can that will give the right look.

I have to use a can of commercial undercoating shot out of a "Shutz" spray gun at about 25 psi to get the right thickness and texture. A Shutz gun has a large (~3/8") spray tip. You can buy this set-up at an auto paint store.

Sounds like he is talking about primer.
