I bought a date stencil from Zip this week. The date they gave me was 5-10-67. The NCRS guide says the date code would be month/year(5-67). I have seen pictures of frames at assembly that have the date hand stroked. I am confused?? In addition, my car was built 6-21-67, how Zip came up with 5-10-67 is also in question. Any info from you guys would be appreciated. Kurt
I would like to ask 2 questions, is that your Body build date or did you get that from the birthday book, and don't you think the frame would be built before them?
Birthday book.. Yes, I agree the frame would be built prior, I was wondering how they(Zip)came up with 5-10-67? The format is another issue, should it be 5-67 or 5-10-67??? Thanks, Kurt
I ordered my stencil from Quanta for a June 8th-built '67, and they made it with a "5-31-67" date, not just "5-67". I suspect Zip drop-ships from Quanta.
