C3: Need help with decal placement

I need a little help with the correct placement of a couple of decals on my '69 BB. If anyone can provide a good description of the location and orientation, or better yet, a photo, I would really appreciate it.
1) Wiper motor foil decal. The JG just says the decal should be there, not where it should be or how it is oriented.
2) Carb idle/anti-diesel solenoid caution sticker. The JG says the decal is on the solenoid or on the bracket, but does not say exactly where or how it was oriented.

Jon, the wiper motor decal was on the motor housing, but not in any exact location or orientation. The solenoid decals that I have seen were always on the solenoid, usually legible to the mechanic that had to adjust it. Facing the LH fender

1. Wiper motor foil decal goes right in the center of the motor as you face it, orientted "horizontally" on the bias. What I mean is that it'd be straight if the motor was moved from its slightly tipped orientation to a vertical orientation, and then the sticker would be horizontal and easily readable. Center it right on the "body" of the motor.

2. I've seen them longitudinally and circimferentially applied, and even diagonally. I don't think the workers at the solenoid plant cared. maybe others have thoughts on this one.
