'66 C2 Steel Wheels: What color black?

I want to refinish my 1966 steel wheels. (Stock Rims) My question is, how "Glossy" should the black paint be? It's more then the Krylon semi-flat 1613, correct? Is it the same on the frontside and backside? Did anyone have good with another brand of "rattle can" paint? Thanks

    Ken,

The wheels were dip painted semi-gloss by Kelsey Hayes and then the fronts were painted in St. Louis in gloss black. In my experience, you will never be able to get a good looking gloss black using a rattle can. The gloss black needs to be done using a professional sprayer. The rattle cans simply don't have enough pigment in them to give you something that doesn't look like it's been clear coated and splotchy.
