    C2-Early vs. Late Year

Can some please clarify "Early" vs. "Late" year. Is it based on calendar year or model year? My '67 L79 build date is March 23, 1967. Is is considered early or late year?

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Re: C2-Early vs. Late Year

    Mike-----

The terms "early" and "late" are very subjective and ambiguous terms and there really is no precise definition, at all. More often than not, it more applies to a "changeover" point with respect to a, particular component. What may "define" "early" and "late" for one component may be different for another.

Aside from components, "early" and "late" may be generally applied to cars built in the first few months of production (i.e. "early") or the last few months of production (i.e. "late").

With respect to the latter "definition", your car is decidely neither "early" nor "late", although it's probably more "late" than it is "early".
