smog pump

Could anyone tell me if the 67 SB, K-19 smog pump is the same as the 67 BB, K- 19 smog pump. The pictures look the same. I am sure the numbers are different, but I just need a smog pump. This is the pump that has two hose out the front. Any ideas on where to find one? Thanks again you guy's are incredible. Dale

The 1967 Corvette small block and big block AIR pumps are exactly the same. However, they were not used for any other model besides Corvette. The primary difference between the Corvette and other model pumps has to do with the outlet pipes. Corvette has a fitting pressed into the bottom of the pump housing with twin outlet pipes; other pumps have the outlets off the back plate of the pump.

The 1966 or 1967 Corvette pumps are very difficult to find since they were Corvette-only pieces. This= EXPENSIVE. A guy like Bill Hodel might be able to supply you with one, but it won't be cheap. Or, you could look in the Driveline, Hemmings, or eBay.
