I Just got a NOS in the box 55 Chevy truck wiper motor from E-Bay, and your asking sooooo. Well because I know if you remove the bottom plate and replace it with your original plate you have a new original wiper motor.Even the top steel cover is the same but for the ##'s so if you 55 or early 56 guys have a bad wiper motor and have around $150.00 check now and then on Chevy 55 truck. Or get a rebuilt one from you no who for $600.00 or more.
AND look for a 55 "truck" gas tank sender, it also is the same as 55 Corvette.

Here is one on e-bay cleaned rebuilt and ready to go starting $25.00 . You can see that the back plate lid is different and as I said just replace it with your's.

As you also can see the front plate is the same but for the ## I may bid my self replace the bottom with any C1 plate that will also work , then sell it for bigga bucks as Corvette. Were do you think many rebuild Corvettes wiper motors come from?

The 924 ('56) switch cover won't fit this motor.

It has a different shape at the right rear (as installed) corner.
