C1 turn signal assembly help for 60

Is there any good drawings/assembly instructions available for the horn/signal/canceling mechanism. If it's in the Aim or ST12 I can't find it.

I don't remember any right off, but it's pretty straightforward. What do you need to know?

I have a box of parts that include
Cancel mechanism with two coil springs
      Wire harnes with two screws
      lock wedge with screw
      centering spring
      horn contact
1 wire tension spring (about 4" long)?
      2 pan head bolts with nuts 1 1/8 x 1/4
      2 countersunk head philips about #10 1 1/8 long
From catalogue drawings I am missing the pivot bolt and
the brush and the screws for the horn contact
I don't know if I have everything or what doesn't belong.
I have everything orientated. Is the wire spring from somewhere else?
How does the horn/brush make a connection for ground to the horn?
I remember something about shiming pins for the signal canceling.

If you have C&C catalog book on page 119 should help you.The horn brush rides on the Horn copper ring .

Sounds like you have everything except the pivot bolt. The 4" tnnsion spring must be for something else. Like Roy says, the brush just rides on the rim of the upper bearing which doubles as the horn contact.

The pins on the hub of the steering wheel must be oriented to the 8 and 10 o'clock positions in order for the cancel mechanism to operate properly.

Are you sure about the 4" spring? I see a "W" spring #561113 in CC's Catalogue.
They say it's part of the canceling mechanizm.

There are two little springs about 1/2 long #561109 that pull the cam lever and one long flat spring steel #561112 piece about 3in., no other spring used in the housing.

CC insists that there is a wire spring that mounts on the canceling switch #561113 that is needed. It is listed but not shown in the picture.

                  Larry...

There is a wire (spring) that mounts on the cancel switch that pivots with the switch. Most switches have this installed as part of the assembly, it can come out and if bent-in will not work.

                    Dennis,
I was just getting ready to respond that I found YOUR picture of the assembly showing the wire spring on the right side with tension to the legs outward.
Thanks again, I'll just bring a case of beer.
