I need my original 67 BB power brake booster rebuilt and replated. The booster has some minor rust pitting that would require sanding. The car will be judged so I am looking for quality workmanship. I noticed in The NCRS Driveline that Steve Gregori and Booster Dewey offer these services. I would appreciate hearing recommendations and experiences any of you may have as to the "go to source" for producing the highest quality booster rebuild and restoration. Thanks for your information in advance.

Re: Brake Booster Restoration
i've used Dewey (a 63 PB booster) and was pleased.the 64 thru 67 boosters, i've done myself as rebuild kits are(or were 10 years ago) available. i used Dewey on the 63 as i couldn't locate a new diaphram for the unique to 63 vette(and Buicks) PB booster.disassemble, sand out the pits and have it plated then install the rebuild kit parts . good luck, mike- Top

Re: Brake Booster Restoration
I've used Steve Gregori a few times with excellent results. The boosters almost look too good to put back in the car. I would recommend him highly - and have!
In fact, I just received back some bolts that I had him replate.

Re: Brake Booster Restoration
I had a major parts supplier who also does restorations (who shall go nameless) do my '63 (one year only) booster and was charged nearly $300, took months longer than I was told, and when I got it back it looked awful.
I sent it to Booster Dewey who not only redid it and did a superb job, he did it quickly and didn't kill me on the price. I would recommend him highly.- Top
