I have found a "66" front clip that is needed for my restoration. It is original with all bonding strips in place and only one minor repair. What's it worth? The owner is going to take the highest offer by next Friday.
A complete clip from the gentleman who repo's them in Indiana is $3200.00 if I pick it up. It has been my experence either clip will need work to fit.
where is the "minor repair" located on the clip and can you describe the damage and the repair method.if its a perfect 66 front clip sans hood and headlit bucket assemblies, that was removed from the donor car with little or no damage at the bonding areas, i think it'd fetch 3 to 4K. you might want to get with Wayne Wobble, a frequent contributor and an expert at assemblying and bonding midyear front clips. mike
Mike, The repair was just under the right parking lens. The repaired area was done correctly but needs smoothed a little on the inside to make it pretty much undetectable.
