I am restoring a 62 vette, it appears that the threads on the inner, upper and lower a arms may be worn out, and on the nuts also, does anyone know what size and pitch threads these are? what would be a good book that covers the chassis and suspension specs like a good shop manual? thanks!!!

Agree w/Mikie...
... the "new" reproduction front end suspension items w/threads are often "looser" than(what you think are)the worn originals - and, what's worse, they are different in configuration. Very frustrating. Often, I have put the original stuff back in service because the "new" was no better. Quite frankly, these front end suspension systems, by todays standards, were a piece of crap. But, I guess that is just one of the many reasons we love these cars. Best, Dennis- Top

Re: 62 chassis restoration
If you don't have it, you need the ST-12 (1953-62 Corvette Servicing Guide), the only GM Shop Manual that was published for C1's; it has an extensive and detailed section on the front suspension. Available from the on-line store on this site.- Top
