Does anyone out there know if any 1968's had the stingray emblem on the front clip as the 69's? It would help to end a ongoing disagreement.

Cannot speak for every 68 that came out of the St Louis Corvette factory, but my 68 original owner built in Feb 1968 did not have the Stingray emblem. 68 Corvette owners did add them later.Comment

Uncle Generous Motors decided to eliminate the emblem for 1968 (penny pinchers were at work). A very large outcry from the Corvette community as to why. In 1969 they were added back to the fendersDick WhittingtonComment

I'm not sure what this means.... there was no emblem in '67, so what was "eliminated?" What was the "very large outcry?" "Added back?"Comment
