C3 Rear Storage Area Rubber Fasteners

After I removed the carpeting from the rear storage area, I found three rubber fasteners on the bulkhead about 1 inch in diameter. Are these used to hold the carpeting in place? I have a '69.

Pat, these were used to hold the bulkhead carpet up. The heads are approximateily 1" in diameter. The shank of the plug is 1/4-5/16" in diameter with a a pointed shoulder to retain them in the bulkhead. Repos are available from various vendors. They are very hard to remove without destroying. A tip for installation is to use liquid soap to lubricate the pointed end.

Paragon has the correct repros with GM part number embossed. Some repros are plain on top.
