    New 67 Exhaust System Guidance

I need to purchase a new exhaust system for my 67 327/300 4-speed. Should I get the 2" or 2 1/2" system? Everything I have read states I need a 2" to 2 1/2" system. I am quite confused. What should I be ordering?

    George,

All the 66 and 67 small blocks had the 2" exiting manifolds that would require you to get a 2" to 2 1/2" system. I also have a 67 small block, but I went to the local Chevy dealer and bought the current production 2 1/2" manifolds. I will use the 64-65 all 2 1/2" high performance system. This will also require me to use a different alternator bracket, because the current driver's side manifold doesn't have the same bolts holes like original. Allen's Stainless exhaust is highly spoken of, and most Corvette parts suppliers use these guys. Check it out before you spend the money.
