    67 BB heater hose clip

    Is the heater hose clip attached to the inner fender painted or bare steel on a 67 BB? Also, are the brackets that hold the grill painted?
    Does the big block have extra wire clips on the firewall?

      I believe that the heater hose clamp was black phosphate-finished. The grille brackets were either painted semi-gloss black or were black phosphate. I have no info on the clips.

              The original heater hose clamp on my 66 appears to have been originally painted semi gloss black. (dipped?) Areas where the paint has flaked off over the years appear to be unplated steel.

              Big blocks cars do have an additional clip on the I.P.
