ROFLMAO!!! That Jerry...I always thought he was kind of laconic, but this auction reminds me of a grumpy Calvin Coolidge with an EXTREMELY sarcastic sense of humor. Jerry has done everything except tell them "THIS IS A PARTS CAR...AND NOT MANY PARTS AT THAT!!!"

From what I have seen with the limited exposure that I have had to Jerry he seems to be a straight up guy. I bet he has had a ball with this one. But stop and think, a trim tag brought $1,300 bucks a while back. This one has trim tag, VIN tag, and title. Plus a decent frame. Hmmmmm. What could this eventually be?? The latest Z-06 to be found? Just a lowly FI car? Surely ye jest if you think that it will be a base engine car

I don't know Dick, I sold a '63 coupe that was worse than this back in '87 when prices were going nuts. I advertised it as '63 coupe, body only, no eng, no trans, no interior, #33, 22nd coupe, $2500, call after 12 noon.

My first call that Saturday was 6:10 am that morning. That was not the first call, I had twenty calls the night before the ad went in.

I lost count at 200 calls, or more accurately, I didn't care anymore. I got calls up to two months AFTER the car had sold. It sold on Sunday.

Mine made Jerry's look like you could drive his in a couple of weeks.

I think Jerry won't show up on eBay or anywhere for several weeks. The last thing he will want to hear is anything about that car.

All I can say is "he done good". After the shafting that I have taken on Ebabes a couple of times his ad makes me want to start ebaying again, just for entertainment.
